Two plays bv Joe Orton. " Loot" is the two act play with which Orton established himself as one of Britain's leading play wrights and as the master farceur of his age directed by David Haynes. "Ruffian on the Stair" is a one act play directed by Noel Purdon is the mirror image of Entertaining Mr. Sloane". It dramatises the self-destructive bondage of people to their loved ones.
