Menotti's one-act opera, is 60 minutes of hilarious entertainment. Performed to sellout audiences in its Newcastle season earlier this year, critics acclaimed the opera as "a witty and entertaining stage piece", and proclaimed, "with such superb direction and cast, this charming opera must be seen".
