Adelaide Than Never

Cabaret
Presented by: Living Legends
At: The Fringe Club
70-74 Kintore Avenue, Adelaide

The craziest cabaret never to hit Adelaide. Encompasses the full range of guerrilla humour, from the sublime to the bizarre, and the totally surprisingly expected. They all write their own scripts so the blame rests entirely with the performers. Featuring Los Trios Ringbarks whose offensive reputation precedes them. This two man cabaret act describe themselves as 'top line professionals' but others claim they are a load of s*"t, hopeless incompetents. Bent, Sick. Their recent appearance on the ABC's Four Corners placed the show's future in jeopardy. And Con and Vince Marasco, Melbourne crooks, businessmen, pinball, pizza, massage, and funeral parlour proprietors, featuring ex. Whittle Simon Thorpe and Tony Richards. An exercise in comedy of menace. Remember, you'd rather buy a used car from Richard Nixon. With Mary Haire And Ian Farr providing the up-market sophistication and class otherwise missing from the show - Cole Porter to Brecht, a dose of new Australian, material, rock and blues, the superb voice of Mary Haire and piano playing of Ian Farr, plus Snert Beautron And Lucille Kabaratz. He's a legend in his lunchtime, and she accompanied him on piano. Neo-urban comedy from a one-man bandaid, hilarious, social and political observation and satire. "He's a bloody show-off" claims his mother.
