Kind-hearted shopkeeper Felix Dulay lets his customers take advantage of him - they never pay their bills. Felix does not mind until his miserly Uncle Gaston, the shop's owner, arrives and threatens to sack him. Three casual workers fixing the roof (who happen to be convicted murderers) decide to get involved to help Felix out of trouble. A funfilled gentle comedy.
