FRINGE OPENING NIGHT STREET PARTY

What a great way to welcome the Fringe. From 7pm to 12 midnight the East End of Rundle Street will be closed to traffic for an explosion of family fun! A procession at dusk featuring the fantastic and the grotesque with spectacular costumes will mark the beginning of this exciting event. To get you in the mood for the Festival to follow, comedians and more will provide great entertainment on 3 stages and in the street. The East End Traders will be serving delicious foods from kerbside cages and the shops will be open till late. As well as this, many street stalls will be selling everything from crafts and antiques. So hold that street! Stop those cars! Nothing moves, it only grooves! Let the FRINGE '88 begin!
