BLUE HORSES/SLAVE/ELEKTRA

Dance
Presented by: Darc Swan
At: Wetpack Theatre, Living Arts Centre
crn North Tce & Morphett St, Adelaide

BLUE HORSES explores the sculptural dimension of dancers forming and re-forming at first in staccato manner which dissolves into uninterrupted flow, set to blues music. SLAVE is a satirical high energy view of subjugation: does a slave really want freedom? ELEKTRA contains dialogue from the classical Greek tragedy spoken by an actress, while a chorus of five dancers entwine her in patterns which reflect her mood.
