A one day event, co-ordinated by the Yummeewarra Media Association. "In 1988 Aboriginal people will raise many issues and concerns dealing with their rights as the indigenous people of a country which will be celebrating an invasion." Alec Wilson. Yummeewarra Media Association. Featuring: WATCH OUT and KARBARA Proposed speakers Maureen Watson, Tracy Moffatt, Ernie Dingo, Eva Johnson and Madeline McGrady. Screenings of Aboriginal produced/directed films and videos. Aboriginal Representation within Media and Racism within Media. Proposed speakers: Tracy Moffatt, Brian Syron, Eva Johnson, Justine Saunders and John Macumba Screenings of David Noakes' HOW THE WEST WAS LOST, BARBAKIEUARIA, KUCKLES and WATCH OUT.
