Tristan Und Isolde in Venice

Theatre
Presented by: Paul Sherman
At: Small Price Theatre
Centre for the Performing Arts, 96 Grote St, City

A new play about Richard Wagner by PAUL SHERMAN which is guaranteed to rival the Australian Opera's presentation in the main Festival. A veteran of 37 Shakespearean roles, Paul portrays Wagner in this world premiere performance. We are in Venice. It is February, 1923, the 40th anniversary of Richard Wagner's death in this city. Past merges with present and future. SHERMAN as flamboyant Italian poet/dramatist Gabriele D' Annunzio re-incarnates Richard Wagner writing Tristan und Isolde in Venice.
