THE EMBROIDERERS' GUILD OF SA INC was established in 1965 and currently has 600 members. The Guild at Work is an exhibition of traditional and contemporary embroideries which showcase basic pieces to top-class work and highlights the educational role of THE GUILD. THE GUILD's work is widely represented, the majority of the coats of arms hanging in the Adelaide Law Courts were worked by members of THE GUILD. Members also contributed to the Parliament embroidery hanging in Canberra.
