This exhibition is an expression of both urban and traditional Aboriginal art. It is an expression of their inner most feelings of the strong cultural ties within their customs, values and beliefs. History shows clearly that the Aboriginal people were dispossessed and dislocated from their mother earth. Throughout colonisation their lifestyle was shattered. Despite the long struggle for survival this did not hinder their significant strong cultural ties. The craft done by these artists reveal the living arts style as it rises to the forefront in this unique art form
