Brought up in Bavaria and trained as a neurophysiologist, Manne creates art influenced by southern German baroque as well as science. In this triptych, scientific fiction is paired with an ironic view of the world. Combining found and manufactured objects with mesmerising painted areas, the surreal montage created are reminiscent of absurd 3-D comics.
