This is truly the 'hub' of all Fringe action. It's where you'll find the invaluable Information Centre, the central Venue*Tix Box Office, arts and crafts stalls, fabulous international foods, bars and more, all in a large open-air space complete with cafe tables and large umbrellas. There's free entertainment on the outdoor stage and a host of other great things to keep you occupied before (and after) you go 'fringing' with your friends and family.
