Geeta, seventeen, is widowed four hours after her wedding, still a virgin. The ritual hair sacrifice signifies denial of her sexuality, condemnation to a sexless existence. She escapes and encounters women in China, Trinidad, Egypt, Africa and discovers parallels with her own life. Story evolves through drama, dance and music.
