Both artists' work take influence from living in urban environments. Phil's work utilises discarded objects/materials; together with the hand-made, raising issues on 'gender' and 'environment'; whilst Rob's painting delivers powerful imagery with a certain softness, to create 'nature' pictures in a city studio.
