POOL CULTURE

Theatre
Presented by: Acting Around Youth Theatre Group
At: The Armoury Lawn
Cnr Kintore Ave & North Terrace, Adelaide

"Pool Culture" is sun, swimming, big T-shirts, goggles, flippers, suntan cream, icy poles and fashionable bathers. Liz is a big T-shirt person. Bathers don't suit her body type and she isn't about to let anyone see her bikini line. Cameron finds it easy to wear 'dick pointer' bathers, while Philip would rather play his computer game than get his feet wet. The dilemma of adolescence is explored through acrobatics, movement and live original music. This play explores the beliefs, values and customs of an Australian summer by the pool. Written and directed by Nicole Windsor. Production Manager Fiona Smith.
