Britten wittily describes the life of the saint associated with Christmas. We hear of his birth, dramatic sea journeys, encounters with lost "pickled boys", and finally, his death. St. Peter's Cathedral Chair, Kapelle Singers, instrumentalists from Marryatville High School and acclaimed tenor, Tasso Bouyessis as Nicolas, will perform this and other works. One performance only.
