Port on the Fringe '98 celebrates the cultural explosion of Port Adelaide, which boasts more artists per head than anywhere else in Australia. Join in "Not Drowning, Weaving", a giant community-based installation/exhibition with local contemporary basket weaver, Sandy Elverd; fire sculptures, arts installations, bands and fun at "Rosewater is Burning" community festival, stroll by the beach at the Semaphore Sunset Markets, visit our many galleries, museums and exhibitions including the multimedia exploration "Titanic - Voyage of Discovery", Indian miniature paintings, an exhibition of mixed media plates, an exhibition of works by SA printmakers and drop in on our Fringe dwellers, resident artists at work in their studios.
