The story is adapted from Till Eulenspiegel, a 14th century wanderer who became part of German folk tradition. As a symbol of "Everyman", he is closely related to Punch, Robin Hood and other similar characters. The show includes a discussion of puppetry, and runs for from between 30 and 45 mins.
