The 2011 S.A. Wooden Boat Festival is a bi-annual event in its 12th occasion. Held in Goolwa, a scenic 100km south of Adelaide where the Murray meets the sea, the Festival attracts over 100 boats and 10000 people to enjoy the atmosphere of the historic wharf precinct full of wooden boats, good local food and wine, music and art displays. The iconic and historic paddle steamer Oscar W will be running cruises and Steamranger trains will be operating. For the first time in the events history, the Festival will have free entry for the public.
