This Fringe Accidental Productions presents The Disturbed Couple_x0019_ s Hour! People are together for all sorts of reasons, some for love, some for money and some for convenience. The exciting talents of Flinders Drama Centre Graduates Carissa Lee and Rowan Elliott Hopkins come together to delve into some of these odd and different couples you can come across out there. The show consists of two witty back-to-back one-act plays by Alan Ball. The first, The _x0018_ M_x0019_ Word, is about a seemingly perfect young woman and her seemingly perfect young boyfriend comfortably adjusted to a very image-conscious society. They appear to have the ideal life with the world at there feet, but in so much perfection something might just have to give& ..So when the woman begins to feel duped by an item she has purchased because of its excessive packaging, her perfect world starts to slip through her fingers. Will she take matters into her own hands? The second piece, Made for a Woman, presents a pair of educated executives living in a time where marriage has become a business. The dilemma for these two is to decide whether their lives fit within their chosen business model. Following usual business practice, they become embroiled in heavy negotiations to work out the best possible future together. Will the pair, so caught up in their corporate lifestyle decide to _x0018_ merge_x0019_ ? The Disturbed Couples Hour! makes for an exciting, sophisticated and humorous night out.
