Sista Act: Women Of Country are a group of dynamic, fun, passionate, deadly sisters from a diverse range of Aboriginal language groups; Joining in the celebrations of the centenary of International Women_x0019_ s Day for 2011, they come together to perform a theatre piece which celebrates, highlights, respects and honours the unique role that Aboriginal women have played in advancing Aboriginal Affairs from the 1967 Referendum up until today, in all levels of Government and mainstream society. The performance is a celebration and acknowledgement of Aboriginal women, community, culture and the many issues impacting on Aboriginal people today and throughout history, flavoured with a bit of humour, song and dance
