SKITCH TEASE- an intimate cabaret with comic actress, Liz Skitch, wearing nothing but heels, fishnets and a tiny squeezebox. "Laced with punchy one-liners and witty stories and songs that target anything and everything" The Advertiser "Guilt laden laughter remains with you well after the show, the dark pall of her cheeky accordion ringing in your ears." DB Magazine "Skitch rips into you with engaging, dark edged warmth you expect from a freaky aunt offering a tray of spectacular afternoon teacakes." DB Magazine "There is clearly a razor sharp mind at work beneath that cascade of curly blonde hair" Glam Adelaide "You will laugh, sing, cheer and applaud, and then you will sing her praises." Glam Adelaide Skitch leaves no stone unturned, singing songs about phone calls from her mum, dating, sneezing and safaris and musing on love hotels, hello kitty, war and peace. A fast paced accordion accompanied blend of songs, stories and sensational punch lines. SKITCH TEASE premiered at the 2010 Adelaide Fringe Festival and since then has performed to sold out seasons at the Brisbane Powerhouse, The Adelaide Cabaret Fringe Festival and The Woodford Folk Festival. Trained in clown with Philippe Gaulier, Liz has performed and written for Queensland Theatre Company, toured with Bell Shakespeare, and is one half of "The Gooney Girls" comedy duo (Triple J Raw Comedy Finalists). Liz has been entertaining audiences with her unique helium injected gags, thoughts and songs for the past ten years and has performed in many festivals including The Melbourne International Comedy Festival, The Melbourne Fringe Festival, The Edinburgh Fringe Festival, The Woodford Folk Festival, The Brisbane Cabaret Festival the Adelaide Cabaret Fringe and this year is looking forward to returning to the Adelaide Fringe Festival. Liz also writes and directs shows for deBASE productions. Established in 1998, deBASE creates brilliant new comedies for young people and a wider audience.
