This is and exhibition gleaned from the multitude of Polaroid images Blake has made as unique images and for the development of ideas for his photographic work over the years. An avid Polaroid aficionado and collector of the SX-70 camera Gavin has created a myriad of portfolios, ranging from one off "sketches", stereoscopy (optical and anaglyphic), "Depiction Pictures", his most recent "Movie Portraits" shot on 4X5 and vintage proofs from his internationally acclaimed "Immaculate Projections" shot with SX-70 and 4X5 positives. None of these images have been exhibited before, and represent a playful and intriguing insight into the workings and development of an artist passionate about film-based photography.
