Bad Romance After the success of their previous two Fringe Festival productions, _x001C_ Ashes to Ashes_x001D_ and _x001C_ Frock Rock and Radical Cheek_x001D_ Emily Davis and Clementine Ford, pair up for the third year running to present Bad Romance; a sometimes clinical, always debauch examination of how, and why love goes bad. Aptly qualified with a combined 30 years experience of f@#!ing love up, Davis and Ford turn on their charm, invoke their powers of musical interpretation and sing their hearts out (literally) all in the name of sharing the universal pain of bad, bad romance. Featuring a variety of special guests, poignantly dark original works, clever instrumentation and interpretive dance (which has now become a trademark of this talented duo), Davis and Ford guarantee a thrilling, unpredictable escapade through the gritty channels of their twisted minds. Armed with vignettes, love letters, broken hearts and meat cleavers, love will never quite look the same again. _x001C_ The moment Emily struck her first note I was taken with goose bumps. Smooth& a voice like chocolate..: Clementine is to be applauded for her hilarious wit _x0013_ [she] had the audience eating out of her palm_x001D_ . Artshub 2009 _x001C_ Witty, cheeky and sensual. Final word: Breathtaking_x001D_ Rip It Up, 2010
