Spirit of Africa celebrates the music, dance and rhythms of Africa. The show features Ziggi and The Heart of Africa, a high energy Afro/Jazz dance band and the Blessed Brothers a gospel themed vocal group. Ziggi and the Heart of Africa play a fusion of African, Latin & Arabic rhythms with elements of reggae funk and jazz. The African influence is primarily from the Groovy M'balah rhythms, which are contemporary rhythms unique to Senegal, West Africa. The Blessed Brothers are a group of young African refugees who sing gospel songs in an Acappella style.
