While being called a textile artist is a little too formal for Kristen, she is happy with that title..... for now. Textiles have been a part of her life from birth. Her mother, an accomplished seamstress, taught her a deep love and belonging while working with fabric. The grandmother she barely knew was better acquainted to her while spending hours at the sewing machine with her Mum. Showing pieces by all three women, this exhibition honors both Kristen's mother and grandmother and the life lessons passed 'down the line'.
