Wildlife is a fun and exciting mixed media exhibition with all artworks created around a Fauna & Flora theme. There will be a variety of artwork on show by over 25 South Australian artists. The work ranges from Marc Spurgin's expressive and colourful sculptures to the intricate textile wall hangings by Denise Gaskell. Another highlight of the exhibition is the stunning Pyrography by David Ledden and the quirky seal photography by Ann Nolan! Visitors can expect to see a wide variety of artwork on display including Paintings, Sculpture, Jewellery, Printmaking, Textiles, Ceramics, Drawings, Basketry, Photography and more! The exhibition will be on display at Pepper Street Arts Centre, 558 Magill Road, Magill, an arts and cultural initiative funded by the City of Burnside. Wildlife will be opened by Chris West who is the CEO of the Adelaide Zoo, on Sunday 20 February 2011 at 2pm. There will be a number of fun activities at the launch including live African Drumming music, face painting and artist demonstrations, all are welcome. The exhibition will run until Friday 18 March 2011 during the Centre_x0019_ s extended open hours of Tuesday to Saturday 10:30am-5pm. There is sure to be something for everyone at this enjoyable exhibition that brings out the wildlife lover in all of us, so don_x0019_ t miss out on this one! Get in first at the launch.
