GALLERYpt is a new venue set in the historic town of Port Adelaide. We have decided to bring this group of unique artists together especially for the Festival Fringe."The Naked Boat" will showcase the substantial and well respected talents of local and interstate artists: Peter Thompson, Sunyata, Alan Kelly, Michael Frank, Jason Milanovich, Damon Knight, Chris Ingham and Robyn Finlay and feature a one off performance by Miss Burlesque South Australia Miss Flavella L'Amour. Refreshments will be provided. Port Adelaide is a creative environment of signifcance that we hope to bring to your attention. Your participatition in the event will keep us here, inside its heart. Alan Kelly, local artist and poet, will perform a spoken word piece reflecting the creative nature of the environment. Local identity, Dave P. relates: "Having lived around the Port for 15 years,I've found the place to be great, with excellent, down to earth people and no problems at all, with a variety of five dollar pints at the numerous hotels in the district. The Port offers all the rewards for any quietly confident drinking man who has a sharp, keen eye for quality art.
