Semaphore Community Market - Every First Sunday of the month Organic fruit & veg, arts & craft, books, plants, jewelery, cakes, sausage sizzle, haloumi sandwiches, community information, massage, haircuts, organic doughnuts, fair trade coffee, caricatures, face painting, live entertainment & kids activities Semaphore Community Markets were launched in May 2009. The Market is hosted by St. Bede's Anglican Parish and managed by the Semaphore Community Market Management Committee. The committee is made up of the St. Bede's Parish Priest, the Market Coordinator and volunteer members of the local community (residents & traders). The market is designed to provide a regular opportunity for creating a positive social environment for people from all walks of life to mix, haggle, share information, have fun, enjoy music, the garden, arts and crafts, sell goods and trade skills. All monies raised through stall fees go directly into supporting the community building and fundraising programs which St. Bede's parish supports including, the Drop-In Centre, Activity Centre, Fred's Van, Community Garden, Community Choir and Bede's Bazaar.
