'The Belle-Phonics' return with 'The Brenton Foster Band' to Adelaide's premiere music venue, The Promethean for this exciting Fringe performance. Following a sell-out show in September this year, the two bands are combining forces to present a night of soul, pop, rock, funk and songwriting from some of Adelaide's finest young talents. The Belle-Phonics began in 2008, originally started by Max McHenry, as a Soul/Dap/ band playing music of Sharon Jones, Archie Bell and the Drells as well as some original material from Max. Since then, the band has changed into what is now, Adelaide's new up and coming original Pop/Funk/Rock outfit. Boasting a mega horn line up (Jason McMahon, Sam Eads, Natalie Ahrens), solid rhythm section (Sam Leske, Liam Garcia-Hardman, Brett Williams, Holly Thomas), and the unique vocal talents of Ali White, the Belle-Phonics have played many packed out performances to crowds at Adelaide's top live funk venues. The EP features 5 tracks of original tunes from past and present members of the Belle-Phonics. Recorded at Chapel Lane Studios and mixed by Paul White (Goose, Hammond Eggs Trio), this punchy, raw EP will leave fans wanting more. The Belle-Phonics are currently writing for an album release in 2011 The Brenton Foster Band continually exceeds your expectations. Described as the love child of John Mayer and Jamiroquai, the band combines pop sensitivity and sentiment with insatiable grooves and melodies. Born in 2009, after studying music together at Uni, the band is made up of Adelaide_x0019_ s finest young talents, namely: Brenton Foster _x0013_ keyboards and vocals Cam Blokland _x0013_ guitars Marty Holoubek _x0013_ bass Joel Prime _x0013_ drums Performing regularly throughout Adelaide to high acclaim by patrons and venue owners alike, the band has steadily become one of Adelaide_x0019_ s most dynamically refreshing original acts. The Brenton Foster Band has recently recorded their debut full-length original album with producer and engineer Brett Taylor for release in early December 2010, with a planned promotional East-Coast tour in January 2011.
