"The Deer Johns take on Life in the Early 80s" tells the story of 3 teenagers through the music of the era in which they grew up: 1980-1985. It's what happens when you cross Bridget Jones Diary with The Wonder Years, multiplied by 3 and turned into a musical (minus the Broadway inspiration). Featuring a wide selection of songs from artists such as A-Ha, Hall & Oates and Human League to Sheena Easton and Wang Chun, share in the experiences of these 3 pubescent try-hards as they debate their cultural epoch through songs, tv and movie of the time
