Beethoven's 6th Symphony, the 'Pastorale', in a rarely heard 2 piano arrangement headlines the program. A newly composed work 'Firestorm' for 2 pianos and 2 clarinets by local composer Thomas Saunders will feature a multimedia display to complement the tranquility of the Australian landscape and destructive power of a bushfire. Features special guests Amanda Lovelock and Charise Altmann. From one half of the team that brought you 'The Planets' and 'Symphonic Rhapsody' from previous Fringes.
