2012 Heysen Sculpture Biennial B6 26 Feb - 29 April, 2012 _x0018_ The Cedars_x0019_ Heysen Road Hahndorf, SA 5245 Tues _x0013_ Sun 10 - 4pm 8388 7277 The 2012 Heysen Sculpture Biennial B6 will be the largest yet with 58 artists exhibiting on 5 acres of the property at _x0018_ The Cedars_x0019_ in Hahndorf. This is a group exhibition of sculptural installations is in the grounds of The Cedars, Heysen_x0019_ s property, Hahndorf, will be on for 2 months after the fringe ends, allowing time for more people to view the work. 26 Feb - 29 April, 2012 This is the 6th occasion, during the AFA and the Fringe, where the installed sculptures are the artists response to the natural landscape. The artists range from those who were in the first Biennial to an expanding group of young and established sculptors including some from interstate. Afford Ananda Andre Apponyi Bolotin Choate Clifford Clise Crawford Dady Daudeij Elder Eliza-Henry Elverd Flint Genoff Hamilton Hayward Heyer Hooper Johns Kerr Kneebone Kouwenhoven Lyle Malone Martin Milner-Nichols Num-Glover Ormerod Parish Parker Phillips Powrie Printer Reid Richardson Robinson Rogers Rowe Short Ladies Sleeman Spook Sunset Suter Syndicas Tadic Thomson Tully Uhlmann Waclawik Wass Wellmann Wickes Williams Wood Worth Wren The artist_x0019_ s included some of S.A_x0019_ s most successful in terms of prizes & awards for public art works. e.g. Marijana Tadic, SE Freeway sculptures, Pamela Kouwenhoven - Advertiser prize 2007, Greg Johns - commissions in Adelaide, Melb. Sydney, Singapore & recently Spain. There are others with good track records Max Lyle, Bruce Anderson, Kon Heyer, Gerry King, John Wood, Liz Williams, Silvio Apponyi and Ron Rowe with over 40 years of exhibiting. There is a younger generation who have shown regularly in Adelaide and Interstate. Julia Robertson, Roy Ananda, Johnnie Dady, Karin Genoff, and The Short Ladies.
