Afrikarts Australia is presenting Afrikan Experience at the House of Africa (113 Gilbert Street). Afrikan Experience features local, interstate and international African artists performing music and dance with an African / World music feel. Afrikan Experience runs from February 25th to March 18th with sessions including Club Afro with local DJs, Reggae Nights, Drumming workshops, Hot Salsa for all ages and an Afro Party on the final day. Afrikan Experience features the following performers: Bortier Okoe, Ziggi Bey Jan, Australian Academy of Steel Drums, Moore Black and The Organic Roots, African Nile Band, DJ Timur and DJ Salvador.
