Ancient Dreamings is a dynamic celebration of Australian indigenous art consisting of displays of artworks from different regions of SA and NT, and opportunities to observe Aboriginal artists as they paint and to hear them talk about their work and the ancient traditions behind their art. A group exhibition and workshops throughout the Fringe. Interstate, overseas and local Indigenous Visual and music Artists including Coral Hayes Pananka - 2011 Finalist:Nora Heysen Still Life Awards, Alma, Robin & Sabrina Granites, Sondra Turner and Michael Nelson Jagamarra. Experience for yourself, try your hand at Australian dot painting, didgeridoo playing and learn indigenous African drumming. At Glenelg Art Gallery / Dymocks Bookshop and venues around Glenelg.
