Celebrations and conquests._x001D_ The women, the glamour, the gossip and the music. _x001C_ Piano Chicks_x001D_ is all about the girls who sit behind the piano for a living; from Carole King and Carly Simon in the _x0018_ 70_x0019_ s, Tori Amos and Sarah McLaughlin in the nineties, Norah Jones and Diana Krall in the naughties, though to Missy Higgins and Alicia Keys today and many more. The one-hour cabaret show features Becky Blake (Chunky Custard, Blue Mandarin) on piano and lead vocals, telling the tale of the lives and tunes of a dozen piano chicks, interwoven with anecdotes from her own International career as a piano chick. Becky is supported by a dynamic 6-piece band with strings and youth choir, lead by Gary Isaacs (Taylor Made, Catherine Lambert). Sometimes funny, sometimes poignant, Piano Chicks invites the audience to identify with their own memories through the unforgettable music of the songstresses who created them.
