Miss Patsy DeCline was born in a tiny little railway sidin' of a town called Shangri-la in Tennessee, the eldest of ten children. Her Daddy worked the signal lights on the track and her Momma ran off with a travelling toothbrush salesman when Patsy was just eight years old. The young Patsy was left to fend for the family whilst her Daddy worked hard to bring home enough beans to feed the hungry children. Then one dark day her beloved Daddy was hit by a train and killed on the track and County Welfare soon came and dragged all the children off to nearby Cowpoke County Orphanage where Patsy was forced to work like a slave day and night. She had no shoes and her only dress was in rags. Then late one night at age 14 Patsy jumped the orphangae fence and hitched a ride on a freight train headin' south for Nashville. On her arrival she immediately entered herself in a talent quest at a local whiskey joint and sang her life story to an attentive crowd. Everyone broke down and cried and Patsy became a star! She has since been crowned The Queen of Country Corn an unprecedented three years in a row and after recording a number of albums, acquiring hundreds of dresses and collecting thousands of pairs of shoes she went searching for salvation in the bottom of a bottle and in the arms of too many unscrupulous cowboys. Following many years of intense therapy however she came good and continued her successful career performing around the world as the The Queen of Country Corn but recently she suffered a relapse. Fresh out of rehab and brimming with creative juices Patsy is back with a vengeance and there ain't no one, nowhere who can get in her way!
