For as long as I can remember I've been obsessed with abandoned theme parks, early 1900's carnival midways, the former sites of state fairs, forgotten malls and cities; giant structures built to house the glory of man's innovation and invention, then left to be taken over by birds, bugs, and bones. Ghost Town starts with the premise that classic carnival characters, theme park icons, and the mayors and dignitaries of abandoned cities are now homeless and wandering the world, trying to remember where they come from and find a new home. This dance theater exploration is set to a moving backdrop of photos and videos of abandoned theme parks, shopping centers, and cities from all over the world. - Cera
