FRINGE AT THE BAY Jetty Road Glenelg presents Open Studio, an exhibition by South Australia_x0019_ s best known and critically acclaimed Artists _x0013_ Robert Hannaford. Robert Hannaford is one of Australia_x0019_ s finest portrait painters. Sitters have included Australian Prime Ministers, Federal and State Cabinet Ministers and many individuals who have made significant contributions to the nation_x0019_ s cultural, legal, scientific, medical, corporate and community life. The Artists practice extends across a broad range of genres including: landscape, the human figure, nature studies and still life in a diversity of media. Open Studio takes the viewer behind the scenes and into the Artists studio. Previously unseen in Adelaide, Open Studio is drawn from the Artists personal collection and uses well-known and rarely or never exhibited work, including sketch books, maquettes, landscape, figure studies and finished paintings giving a unique insight into the Artists Practice.
