South Australia-raised, Melbourne-based Cookie Baker is an award-winning songwriter, whose music and lyrics have featured in television, short film, published novels and theatre. An engaging live performer who has shared stages with Augie March, Little Birdy, Kate Miller-Heidke, Ben Lee, Old Man River and The Audreys, Miss Cookie's love for a combination of an intimate, magical and understated performance with a bombastic-fantastic show spectacular has resulted in a return season to Adelaide Fringe with her full ensemble (her Special Secret Spells) due to popular demand. Running the musical gamut from ukulele-flecked folk fairytales through to lush and sweeping indie pop heartbreakers, Cookie invites you to join her under the stars and amongst the leafy candlelit surrounds of Tin Cat Cafe for a truly special series of shows not to be missed. 'Clever, sophisticated, laid-back, personal and inspiring' - Rip It Up 'A prodigious talent' - The Advertiser 'A piquant, poignant and evocative release' - ABC Radio
