3 Days off Jesus is a show about a man/boy, David Burke. A man/boy of simple tastes, mostly tea and biscuits. In a world where everyone wants to be different he just wants to fit in, but with a rambling mind it_x0019_ s hard to be anything but; for want of a better word; strange. In attempts to justify his ways there are stories about his parents and childhood and how life growing up in the countryside of Ireland in the 90's is to blame/thank. With a boyish charm, quick wit and quirky ideas on life David tackles such topics as religion, politics, women/love/heartbreak, without ever taking himself or life too seriously. It_x0019_ s a night of comedy, storytelling and some silly jokes that will make your belly laugh. Just a man/boy, trying to accept who he is. A sober, dyslexic, Irish, awkward person who can only communicate through jokes, which all in all isn_x0019_ t that bad when you think about it. Is it?
