Rob Hunter: Late O'Clock With Rob Hunter
Comedy
Presented by:
DERWOOD MCGLURK PRODUCTIONS
Join ignorant half-wit Rob Hunter (Comedy Channel) and friend Luke McGregor (Studio A) as they present a twisted sketch and chat show with some of the festival_x0019_ s favourite comedians. A talk show hosted by a guy who does not like talking to people and who is not very good at it? I agree, it sounds terrible. Strangely though the show was a sold-out hit at the 2011 Melbourne International Comedy Festival, with guests including Wil Anderson, Charlie Pickering, Tom, Gleeson, DeAnne Smith, Eddie Ifft and Greg Fleet. You can watch the interviews on Youtube if you like. Just type in _x001C_ Late O_x0019_ Clock_x001D_ . The internet will do the rest. So that is about it. It really is a fun show but is perhaps not for the faint-hearted, having been described as _x001C_ ...an uncomfortably tense ride...A hardcore celebrity roasting_x001D_ _x0013_ The Pun. Other reviewers though were not quite so squeamish, describing the show as: _x001C_ dynamite...genius._x001D_ _x0013_ The AU Review. _x001C_ One of the more enjoyable experiences of this year_x0019_ s festival_x001D_ _x0013_ Watch Our For. So that_x0019_ s quite good, I think. If you are still not convinced but for some reason are still reading, have a look at these other nice things: _x001C_ Smart, angular and intelligent... A powerful manifesto of funny_x001D_ _x0013_ The Age. _x001C_ Knocks the socks off!_x001D_ **** -Adelaide Advertiser 2007. _x001C_ Pure gold...A unique comedian_x001D_ **** - Adelaide Advertiser 2008. Golden Gibbo Nominee 2009 MICF. Judges_x0019_ Commendation _x0013_ Adelaide Fringe Awards 2008. Yep, those are some impressive quotes and award things. So why not come along to what is bound to be a memorable and unpredictable evening? You may as well. What else are you going to do that night? I guess you could go and see something else. If so, have a good time. Jerk. From your pal, Rob.
