Underneath the sequins and eyeliner, behind the feathers and inside the songs, there lies a strangely familiar road. It is not lined in gold. The fellow travellers are not made of straw and tin, but of grit, love and humour. There can be no clicking of the heels to get home. There is only the onward journey _x0013_ twisted and harsh and beautiful and surprising. Featuring all-original music, the Indie-Cabaret duo ask you to travel to places that are uncomfortably familiar, look at them in a new light and then sing your stories proudly. _x001C_ Stunning& powerful and moving& leaving the audience gasping for more. &&&&&_x001D_ (Broadway Baby) _x001C_ lyric, passion and vocal ability that suggest a star no less radiant than Rufus Wainwright_x001D_ _x0013_ The Age The show is a headline act at Adelaide Fringe_x0019_ s exciting new entertainment precinct, The Big Slapple. Situated in the Adelaide Parklands on the picturesque banks of the Torrens, The Big Slapple is Adelaide_x0019_ s fun answer to our more famous cousin across the ocean, the big apple. The precinct boasts easy access; 1200 onsite car parks; is located next to Adelaide Railway Station, bus, tram and Taxi ranks; an irresistible and affordable range of food and drinks; and free WiFi. The Jane Austen Argument is headlining at the largest of the four venues in the precinct, the 400-seat Apollo Theatre.
