Crump Cake's Orchestra is a 17 piece "Big Band" with the purpose of making music that is catchy and relevant for today while still maintaining artistic integrity. With influences spanning from Kayne West to Duke Ellington, James Brown to Count Basie, J Dilla to Tower of Power, there will be something here for everyone that appreciates hearing great music while having a great time. The Band consists of a 13 piece horn section of some of the finest young players in adelaide, to give it the "guts" it needs to power through, complete with a tight rhythm section, and guest vocalists featured in the program for this fringe.
