Established in 1985, Gray Street Workshop is a collectively run studio and access facility for artists working in the field of contemporary jewellery and object making. The uncompromising commitment of this group of artists to their work and to a studio-based practice has enabled Gray Street to evolve into one of Australia's most respected workshops. For the 2012 Fringe Festival Gray Street workshop is proud to present Cabinet, a collection of objects and ideas, of both curiosity and wonder by Sue Lorraine. Cabinet is an index of finely crafted things, the residue of years spent prodding and probing current and historical developments in the fields of natural history, science, anatomy, ritual and fashion.
