I'm sure there are a few people who are skeptical about the claims made regarding this years impending apocalypse. I'm sure that some of you might even go so far as to say that there is less of a chance of an apocalypse than Kevin Foley picking up in a nightclub, however, through the use of stereoscopic, time-reversing communication methods developed early last year it has become startlingly apparent that the end is undoubtedly nigh. Even If We're the Last Two People On Earth is a post-historical dramatised recreation of journals sent from a deserted future-world. These journals belonged to a nineteen year old girl called Emily and describe her experiences after the reckoning. Along the way we meet the sensitive Lewis who simply refuses to have sex with her and a psychotic dancer Isabel, who believes that the world's cat population are to blame. If you were left stranded at the end of humanity, surely the first thing you would organise is a wedding... 'On Earth' was written after the sold-out success of last year's 'The Sacred Few' by Jack Atherton. It stars Will Cox (Winner of The Adelaide Theatre Guide's 'Curtain Call' Award for Best Male Performer in 2009 [Huckleberry Finn]), Yen Yen Stender and Monica Guilhaus. The play is entirely youth developed and produced.
