iBlink: a photographic discovery by jacky spencer. The iBlink series of images are taken over a twelve month period of capturing transitory memories, on-the-fly via my iphone. I have utilised both an app to process the imagery on the spot combined with some post-production finishing. I have been captivated by minor details, these elements of our urban landscape which are easily over-looked. Quirky and fleeting snapshots capturing a delight of colour, texture and light and shade which have held me in their seductive grasp for just a Blink [and a snap from my phone of course]. Having always been a huge fan of LOMOGRAPHY and the shoot-from-the-hip concept, I find this type of photography accessible, creative and personally amusing, I hope you do too!
