"Back of the Bus" is a character-based dance tour of Adelaide city. Have you ever watched someone on the bus and wondered what they were thinking? That's our starting point. We begin with the antics you see every day on a bus. But then we take you further, beyond the characters' public face, to show you the private side of each person as your journey (and theirs!) progresses. With critically acclaimed choreography that promises to defy gravity, stall time and get your heart racing, in one hour your tour of the unexpected makes some intriguing stops around Adelaide, enticing you off the bus with characters whose story unfolds in several novel locations. "Back of the Bus" is site-specific choreography at its best, providing a rewardingly intimate performance experience for you and your friends to savour. With space for no more than a bus load of spectators on each tour, our dance and physical theatre unfold right next to you, thoroughly engaging you in the world we create. If you like the idea of going on a tour of a familiar city and seeing it in a completely different light, like it's somewhere exotic you've never been before, then our show is for you! So let our sensory ride steal you away from the daily grind. Escape wherever you've come from. And catch the fun of a dancing bus in Adelaide!
