_x001C_ CAN_x0019_ T GET NO& ._x001D_ Dance and swing the night away to the best of Rock _x0018_ n_x0019_ Roll from both sides of the Atlantic. American Rockabilly meets British Rock _x0019_ n_x0019_ Roll with home grown artists EAST TEXAS and SATISFACTION-THE STONES SHOW. SATISFACTION _x0013_ THE STONES SHOW is an eight piece band dedicated to the music of the world_x0019_ s greatest rock _x0018_ n_x0019_ roll band _x0013_ THE ROLLING STONES. Over the past ten years, SATISFACTION drummer (and founder), Paul Sharman, has forged a team of well-seasoned musicians who share the passion for rhythm and blues and a zest for life. Paul believes that the combination of great musicians who connect on many levels makes for an amazing show. _x001C_ The versatility in their musicianship works brilliantly as the original Stones covered styles from country, pop, soul, disco, punk and 60_x0019_ s rock _x0018_ n_x0019_ roll_x001D_ , says Paul. _x001C_ I grew up in the country & we had to be versatile to survive. When I came to the city, I played in original punk, pop and new-wave bands_x001D_ . Paul is proud to introduce _x001C_ SATISFACTION_x001D_ ; Lead singer; Paul Curtis, Bass guitar; Cos Guglielmucci, Guitar; Lenny Rose, Nic Seaton; guitar, Phil Egel; piano, Leanne Noll; backing singer/percussion, Ralph Franke; saxophone. This is the core of the band that has been a regular performer for ten years at THE GOV _x0013_ SA_x0019_ s best live music venue. The look and the sound and the magic of The Stones is right here! Experience absolute SATISFACTION. Adding to the musical mayhem is the dynamic group EAST TEXAS. Drawing on influences from Western Swing, Rockabilly and Country music, EAST TEXAS present the magic of the 1950_x0019_ s, where boy meets girl, boy loses girl, boy finds girl again. EAST TEXAS produces a _x001C_ must see_x001D_ act of long lost cowboy music and carefully constructed original tunes. Lead guitarist, Bernie Mitchell, has been playing guitar in various Adelaide bands for many years. It is not unusual for him to play flat- pick style, slide, thumb-pick or bring out a _x001C_ B- bender_x001D_ guitar in a single performance. Vocalist, rhythm guitarist and songwriter, Tim (Texas) Nicholson creates rich soulful tunes reminiscent of the dusty trails of the 40_x0019_ s with the toe-tappin_x0019_ rhythms of the 50_x0019_ s. All the way from the USA, vocalist and drummer, Fern-Elise Nicholson has spent a lifetime developing an appreciation of the music of the Mid-West. One time school friend of Chuck Berry_x0019_ s daughter, Fern-Elise was destined to follow a musical path. Vocalist and double bass player, Johnny Black, is no stranger to the world of Rockabilly. Proficient on the piano, guitar and double bass, he is a recognised songwriter with international recording and publishing deasl to his credit. Let_x0019_ s spend the night together on the balcony of the historic Light Hotel overlooking the Fringe festivities.
