He has been traveling the world for the past year and returns to Adelaide with some of his best material ever! "Confrontational, dark, smart, and (most importantly), hilarious, Eddie Ifft is one of the most underrated American stand-up comedians around." The Onion 2011. "Nothing is off limits. Ifft is so wrong he's just right" Advertiser 4 Stars - 2011 & 2010" www.eddieifft.com www.jimandeddietalkshit.com "AMERICAN Eddie Ifft loves Australian audiences - he says we "get" him better than 48 of the United States - and especially the way we mess with his mind. He's particularly enamoured of Adelaide (although he still delights in paying us out in a nice kind of way), even if the weather does make his nether regions sweaty. Those parts of the anatomy do play a large part in Ifft's material which, while outrageously funny, does often stray into the vulgar." In his sellout show last year - What Women Don't Want to Hear,he bordered on the misogynistic, so much so that he offered regular disclaimers that he's only joking. "He's so politically incorrect it's downright wrong, and sometimes just plain nasty, especially when it comes to Oprah (or fat people in general), but the audience seemed to roar its approval, regardless of sex, size or shape. From the Crocodile Hunter to Chilean miners and the end of the world, nothing is safe from Ifft - not even shark-attack victims, and especially not midgets. But he's only joking, right?" Patrick McDonald The Advertiser March 2011 - 4 stars "IFFT has star power - He's magnetic, confident and very, very naughty This is a man who must get a lot of hate mail. His style is fast, he peppers you hard but stays likeable throughout. He is cheeky, with a devilish grin. The show starts strong, then keeps stepping up. The jokes get quicker and quicker, the shock value keeps increasing, the audience is dragged along weeping tears of laughter. Ifft cleverly tests the water, throws in a few more sophisticated, political jokes, then eases back to raucous humour to keep everyone on board. Poo, rape, abortions. Nothing is off limits. Ifft is so wrong he's just right." The Advertiser 2010 4 STARS
